Before applying for a service offered on our website make sure you read and understand the terms and conditions set forth below because these terms and conditions will govern any subsequent contract.

If you do not understand any of the contractual conditions, we recommend that you contact our customer service before proceeding with any contract.

We recommend using e-mail to any contact with us because it is faster and more reliable than postal services.

Services
We provide all types of services to individuals or groups. Also, we provide Services for people with reduced mobility.

Procedure for Hiring Online
The contract becomes legally bound only when the client receives confirmation of the requested service is or will be available and notified of this by email. If it is not possible for any reason, provide the requested service, the customer will be informed and refunded the full amount by the same method as the payment was made.

The customer is required to recognize all the notifications made.

However, if the client does not recognize the receipt of an email, the records that exist in the mail from our server should be considered as proof of receipt.

The service booking voucher will be available at the time of booking confirmation by email.

Responsibility
We can not be held responsible for incidents that may occur in the service, more specifically illnesses, personal injury or death, year be caused by negligence. Compensation for accident, illness or death resulting from the use of transfers service will be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the country where the service is actually provided.

We will be absolved of all types of liability where the customer makes a contract directly with the driver or the service provider.

Changes and Cancellations
Proof sent via email to the client includes the destination address requested by the client. Any changes to these or any other information must be submitted in writing, by email to info@yourtaximadeira.com before the date of travel.

The customer is responsible for any additional cost of the resulting service requested the change. Changes subject to availability and acceptance. Two changes are free; other changes may incur an administrative fee.
Any request for contract cancellation must be made through our email address info@yourtaximadeira.com with at least 48 hours of the start of service date transfers or tour. In this case, we proceed to a full refund of the payment made. Where the cancellation is requested within less than 48 hours prior to the initiation of the transfer service, there will be no refund of payment. You should contact customer service by email if you need to claim against your tour operator, airline or travel insurance.

Procedures in Contact
All contacts relating to the provision or changes in the booking contract information should be performed exclusively by email.

In the event of unavoidable changes in the contract, the customer will be informed by e-mail address provided by reservation. Sending this e-mail is regarded as proof of receipt by the customer. Therefore it is essential to verify that the email address provided is correct and also you can ensure that you have read any email received up to the time of the dates and times.

If you do not attend the pick-up point 20 minutes after the time specified in the request for transfer, the driver will try to get in touch with the phone number or cell phone you provided. If you can not contact you for not providing a contact at the time of booking, or the call is not answered, the service is not carried out and without refund.

Responsibility Statement and Capacity
The act of entering into this contract means implicitly that customers declare that:

The services to be provided are in accordance with the details specified in the email confirmation. It is, therefore, the customer’s responsibility to check all data contained in the confirmation of the transfer. If the confirmation of the details is incorrect the customer must get in touch immediately to correct these details.

Tranfers
At the time of transfer, the driver will wait at the point of collection to a maximum 60 minutes from the arrival flight. (In the case of transfers from the airport), the waiting time from any other being restricted to 15 minutes after the scheduled time.

Should the customer not be able to locate the driver at the time of arrival the customer’s responsibility is to get in touch via the contact number. If the customer does not call those numbers, up to 60 minutes after the flight arrival time, in the case of collections at the airport and within 15 minutes to the other collections, we have no problem of knowledge, the transfer of reservation will be canceled and no refund will be due. An electronic record of all incoming calls to the phone number it is maintained by the phone service provider and may be bold as evidence in the case of a dispute over whether the numbers were called or not.

The customer is responsible for checking the agreed time for pick-up for the shuttle service, and also to ensure that your time of arrival at the departure airport allows you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the opening of check-in and under no circumstances less than two hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

We can not be held responsible for delays due to force majeure or other circumstances that are beyond our control, including, accidents suffered by third parties on the transfer route, police checkpoints, acts of terrorism or vandalism, extreme weather conditions, levels of unusual traffic or airport delays. It is the client’s responsibility to provide when booking complete and accurate address for pick-up and destination points. The driver will get as close as possible to the indicated address customer if they allow easy access to the type of vehicle used. For access by the conventional route is closed due to weather or road accidents, etc., the driver may, at customer request expressed, using a longer route to reach the agreed destination, but in this case, the customer will be responsible for any additional cost.

Each passenger is entitled to the baggage of one bag per person, maximum combined size of 158 cm (length + width + height) and hand luggage as small bags, unless additional items are specified during the booking process.

Any excess baggage must be declared when booking. The passenger will be responsible for all additional expenses necessary for excess baggage transportation unreported.

The carrying luggage and other belongings are performed at the customer’s risk and under no circumstances can be held liable for any loss or damage.

Admission Right
Upon agreement, the client tacitly concedes the driver’s right to refuse to carry any passenger who may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and those whose behavior may be considered dangerous for the driver of the vehicle.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These general conditions are subject to the provisions contained in the Portuguese legistação.
The resolution of any dispute shall be subject to Portuguese jurisdiction in the courts of Madeira

Waiting Time
For pick-ups at the airport, the driver will wait up to 60 minutes from the time of arrival of the flight at no extra cost. If you are held up in customs, immigration, baggage collection or lost luggage, you should seek to contact us to ensure that the driver will wait even after the end of the waiting period. There may be, in this case, a cost for extra waiting time after the end of the free period.

For pick-up from the cruise port and hotels, the driver will wait up to 30 minutes after the hour reserved for pick-up at no extra cost.

Meeting with the driver
The driver will wait for you at the airport arrivals area holding a sign with your name. It will help you with your luggage and take it to the vehicle.

For transfers from the airport, cruise port this service is included in the price.

Monitoring Flights
We monitor all arrivals of flights, to ensure that in case there are delays, there will be no recovery of any cost for delays or waiting time. If the flight is delayed, your reservation will be automatically updated and the driver will arrive at the meeting point at the time of arrival of your flight. If your flight is canceled, the reservation is automatically canceled.

Car Fleet
Based on the selected trip, a list of vehicles available for this trip will be displayed.
The types of vehicles used in transfers ranging from standard cars or station wagons, minivans, minibusses or buses. All vehicles used for the service are completely safe and in excellent condition. All vehicles are non-smoking.

Meeting Points
At most airports, the point of pick up will be in the airport arrivals hall, next to the exit door of the arrivals. For cruise port transfers the driver will meet you in the arrivals hall of the terminal where the ship arrives.

Cancellations
No cancellation fee will be charged for the cancellation request is verified at least 48 hours before the time of the booked transfer. In this case, we proceed to a full refund of the payment made. In cases where the cancellation is requested less than 48 hours before the transfer service, there shall be no refund of payment.

Changes Online
You can make changes to all your reservations. We do not charge fees to make changes or updates to your reservation.
